Wisco Outlet The Board

Put it to the test.

Fish math, antler measurements, and one forecast you shouldn’t take seriously.

Useful. Debatable. Very Wisconsin.

Do the fish math. Put a tape to that rack. Find out whether “just stopping by” is believable.

01Deer score estimate

Your measurements

Estimate a whitetail’s gross antler score in inches. Enter measured totals; this does not calculate a net typical or official record score.

Use decimal inches (⅛ = 0.125). Count the main-beam tip in the beam measurement only. Use four circumference measurements on each side. Enter 0 for no abnormal points.

Spread credit is capped at the longer main beam. Measurement and point classification affect the result; official scoring requires an official measurer.

02How heavy was that fish?

Your measurements

An estimated weight from Wisconsin DNR’s species formulas. Pick the fish, add its length, and enter girth only when the formula needs it.

An approximation, not a scale weight or record claim. This estimate does not establish whether a fish may be kept.

03Wisconsin Good Time Forecast

Set the scene

Beer optional. Lawn-chair confidence mandatory. A completely unscientific forecast of your gathering.

For laughs. Drink choice does not improve your score.

Formula sources checked October 8, 2026.

Yep. That’s Wisconsin.

A few observations from the land of the backup hoodie.

Wisconsin dress code: the good hoodie. Emergency dress code: the other hoodie in the car.

“We should get going.” A lovely opening statement for the next 40 minutes.

Went outside to see if I needed a jacket. Came back in with three different answers.
