Milwaukee: postseason plans start Sunday
Milwaukee beat San Diego 3–1 on October 7 to close out the division series and earn another NLCS meeting with the Dodgers. Reuters reported the result October 8. Green Bay: move that Bears reminder to noon
The October 11 game at Lambeau Field now kicks off at noon Central on FOX. It was originally scheduled for 3:25 p.m.; the Packers announced the change September 29. Webster: a turnaround behind the coach award
On October 8, the Packers named Webster High School’s Scott Haskins their Coach of the Week. In his fifth season, the Tigers are 6–1—their best start since 2013—and the award brings a $1,000 donation to the football program. Team announcement. Storm recovery: July damage, October announcement
An October 7 congressional announcement reports federal aid for communities affected by the July 27 storms in Forest, Outagamie, Vilas and Winnebago counties. La Crosse: new work opens October 13
Pump House’s next exhibition rotation runs October 13–November 21, including Madison artist Lydia Zoells’ Undertow and Viroqua artist Flo Sandok’s Life Work. Exhibition details.
